This digital tool presents six key scenarios shaping cocaine trafficking to France, based on the data presented in the Policy Reports. Through maps, targeted case studies, and visual illustrations, it highlights the intersecting dynamics and transnational networks that structure contemporary trafficking routes and markets. Rather than providing an exhaustive overview, the tool highlights critical aspects of trafficking routes, logistics, and criminal adaptation - from production areas in Colombia, to strategic transit zones such as French Guiana and Amapa, the French Antilles (notably Martinique), and onward maritime corridors across the Atlantic and Mediterranean - making complex phenomena accessible and visually legible for decision-makers.
By bringing these six case studies together in a single interface, the tool situates France within a broader transregional trafficking ecosystem linking Latin America, the Caribbean, the Sahel, and Southern Europe. It shows how cocaine flows intersect Sahelian routes, feed into Mediterranean entry points, and increasingly rely on French overseas territories as hubs of transit and rebound. Designed as a decision-support and communication instrument, the tool connects geographically distinct dynamics to their cumulative impact on French security and policy responses, addressing a fast-evolving market where intelligence remains fragmented.
